"Nami no Hana" (Flower of the Wave) Portrait of a long haired girl enjoying the ocean breeze. This fashionable Meiji-period beauty also dresses in a western style, striped bathing suit. She is wearing a gold ring on her left hand. An impressionistic style print which was very rare in early kuchi-e. |
