Description "Sekai Shobai Ourai" (Overseas Trading) Small dictionary of western alphabet, Roman numerals, some English words and Japanese translations. Many small illustrations on 52 pages. The handwriting on the covers indicate this book was used by an elementary school kid.
Signature (artist not listed).
Dated Early Meiji period.
Impression Good ... printed on very thin Japanese papers on double construction.
Colors Black and white.
Condition Good ... water stains on about half of the pages, lower left corners soiled, brown stains on the middle of two pages, binding partially intact.
Note The images on the back pages are shown through the front because the paper is very thin.
