Description "Awazu Dai-kassen". The death battle of Kiso Yoshinaka (middle) at Awazu in Ohmi province, 1184.
Signature Ichijusai Yoshikazu.
Dated 1853.
Medium/Technique Woodblock print.
Impression Good.
Colors Excellent - Very good ... It is rare to find popular "musha-e" (warrior print) in fresh colors.
Condition Good ... A vertical center fold on each sheet. Lightly creased. Backed. Left and Right Sheets: The sheet is separated at the center fold and pasted together by tapes on the back. Right Sheet: Thin areas. The pigments are scraped off at the middle left area.
